Our Process
1. Process Recommendation
In most cases, there are a variety of manufacturing processes available to produce the same product. However, typically one method is best suited. With an understanding of the criteria of your project – total project budget, production quantity, timeline, part geometry, tolerances, and surface finish required – we can help you determine the optimal manufacturing process to make your project a success.
2. Design Audit
We work with you to optimize the design of your part for manufacturing, tailoring features for the selected manufacturing process to maximize production efficiency and success and minimize costs.
3. Tooling, Fixtures, and Jigs
When required, pattern tooling, dies, fixtures, and jigs are designed and constructed with accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use in mind. Quality tools deliver quality parts and minimize costs down the line.
4. Production
We can use rapid prototyping for proof of concept. Once first articles have been approved the process moves to production. We believe it is important to invest the time in the design and prototyping phases to ensure everything moves as smoothly as possible once we get to production preventing delays and cost overruns.
5. Finishing Up
When needed, your products move from production to finishing operations such as surface treatments, coatings, heat treating, finish machining, and assembly.
